Weeki Wachee Springs is one of the family friendly springs in Florida. Not only does it have the natural spring, but it also has water slides, food, mermaid shows, and even peacocks walking around! It’s open daily from 9am to 5:30pm.
Our first impression was wow the water is COLD! But it was a very hot day, so it felt amazing. And when I say the water was clear I mean crystal clear.
Although we didn’t get to capture any manatees, we did get to see turtles and many fish! Yes, you hurd that right…if you come during the right time you will see manatees! Oh and don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear which you can get cheap here: https://amzn.to/3JEs5tP

The fish shown above were really cool and exotic looking! We used the go pro linked here to film: https://amzn.to/3ZKUX9f
We do want to note that if you come during the off-season, not everything will be open! We wish we would have had time to paddle down the river so make sure you plan accordingly.

If your looking go stay close by to enjoy everything we recommend finding a place through this link so you can save money: https://www.rakuten.com/r/BRANDO13717?eeid=37137 We normally go through this website and use vrbo or hotels and always get money back! It’s a win-win!
